sponsored by the Association of Bay Area Governments to help
prevent
damages caused by sewer backups, these damages cost bay area cities
Millions of dollars every year. The backup buster program directs home
owners from their web site to ours were they can select a Plumbing
Contractor from the list of participating PHCC members to do a one page
survey of their sewer system, the cost to the home owner is up to the
contractor but must be under $100. If the homeowner requires work to be
done the Contractor may charge whatever prices he normally charges, it
is requested that if he does work other than the survey inspection that
the survey cost be waived. The Backup Buster program web site received
over 3 million hits last season. There is no cost to participate in the
